Two more helpings of strange, even downright bizarre, sex and death thrillers from Spain’s king of the lens Jess Franco: Devil's Island Lovers (1974) and Night Of The Assassin (1976). The films concern themselves with a love-sick man determined to woo his deceased wife’s sister and the family fortune, and a castle of residents being slaughtered by a masked killer.
