The Wizard of Oz
Jaws 2 [Blu-ray]
To believe that any effort to make a 'Jaws' sequel could compare with the impact of Steven Spielberg's original was a doomed notion even in 1978: the original was and is a cinematic classic of the highest order (despite having spent much of the '90s in almost-infinite rerun on the Turner networks), so much so that no sequel would ever have been able to measure up to its legacy. What happened basically is this: Universal execs saw the budget and schedule for 'Jaws' balloon so badly because of all its production troubles that they told Spielberg he'd never work in Hollywood again, UNTIL the movie was released and broke every box-office record imaginable. As they are wont to do in the face of staggering profit, these moneymongers quickly turned keel and told Spielberg they were behind him 100 percent the whole time and they wanted to know when he was planning to start shooting 'Jaws 2'. Spielberg, being smart, said 'No thanks', so the execs decided to go ahead with 'Jaws 2' without him. BIG mistake.
Brotherhood of Death (1976)
After antagonizing a Caucasian male, three black men: Raymond Moffat, Junior Moffat and Ned Tiese go on the run; join the army; fight Vietnamese; make dough selling dope; and return home to Kincaid County. They decide to assist oppressed citizens to be more assertive, and with the preacher's help, get them registered to vote. This does not auger well with minority Caucasians - who feel threatened, put on Ku Klux Klan hoods, amidst signs to 'Fight Communist and Intergration' and launch an all-out attack with impunity. Things get even more complicated when a black woman is sexually molested, a black male is blamed, and the Sheriff is shot dead, leaving corrupt lawmen and heavily armed Klansmen free to slay whoever dares to oppose them.

"The story goes like this: a small, shitty village is being plagued with visions of the dead, destroyed crops, and curious deaths. It seems an evil witch doctor is behind all of this, angry over the village abandoning the religious beliefs of their ancestors. His main rival is the local priest, and some sort of a cop guy... The rivalry builds until the Witchdoctor uses his evil powers to ressurect the dead, and unleashes an army of zombies on the villagers!"
Slave Contract (1982)
Kung Fu Cockfighter (1976)
"I have no idea what the actual title of this one is, or even exactly where it was made or when it was released, but I'm sure it's not KUNG FU COCKFIGHTER. That's the title they slapped on it in more recent times though so I guess I'll go with it.
Most kung fu movies don't even have any nudity in them but this one features hardcore sex scenes which makes it a real oddity for this genre. The story concerns a wizard guy who has super powers that make his cock able to deflect swords, break boulders and shoot smoke out of his dick. There's also his evil master who's a sex-crazy rapey sort of fellow and a lady who can break poles with her pussy and shoot out pieces of wood like bullets.
The film itself is packed with nudity, there's a torture scene where a gal gets here vag roasted and by the end it becomes a ghost movie.
Needless to say this is a real bizarre watch and despite the title there's not really all that much kung fu'ing that goes on but still worth a look for admirers of the weird and might be the only actual graphic Asian-made kung-fu-porn I've seen so far.
This is listed everywhere as having come out in 1976 but the musical cues seem to be taken from 80's films so this is probably wrong."
The Black Gestapo (1975)
Supposedly one of, or THE most mean-spirited/violent blaxsploitation flick. TBG initially revolves around a group of black guys in uniform standing up to a bunch of white honkey's who are terrorizing their community. Well, this group of black guys, led by the bailiff from Night Court, turn themselves into a private army of lethal and brutal vengeance. But plans backfire as they eventually become what they despised and it's now up to the original guy in charge of the People's Army to set things right. Yeah! Anyways, this was a pretty good flick. Initially it started out very entertaining with oodles of racism by redneck jerks who were all in their own right laugh-out-loud funny. The director Lee Frost was especially good as the leader of the bad white guys. But as the story develops, it becomes a little less entertaining as the racism kinda fades away, and your left with black on black drama. Which isn't as entertaining in my book. But the movie still stays violent, and you also get to see some Uschi Digard boobies.
In the wide world of blaxsploitation I think this flick is a must-see. Especially if you want to see a black dude call another black dude a 'jive-ass n-word'. Hell, I think they use the word 'Jive' like a couple dozen times. And that's a recipe for success in my book.
Hellhole (1985)
There is plenty of stuff in this flick to please any die-hard camp or exploitation fan: pointless lesbian scenes, gratuitous shower scenes & nudity, camp dialogue , horrid performances(with the notable exception of Woronov), & a cast that also includes Marjoe Gortner, Dyanne Thorne (of "Ilsa" fame), Ray Sharkey, & Terry Moore. All in all, a classic midnight movie.
This somewhat entertaining garbage stars Judy Landers as Susan, a young girl who witnesses her mother's vicious strangling. Following this, she comes down with amnesia(of course)and is sent to a mental sanitarium for women(of course) headed by the mad Dr. Fletcher(played with loads of much-needed camp by cult icon Mary Woronov),who likes to perform unorthodox drug -induced lobotomies on some of the more out-of-control inmates. There is plenty of stuff in this flick to please any die-hard camp or exploitation fan: pointless lesbian scenes, gratuitous shower scenes & nudity, camp dialogue , horrid performances(with the notable exception of Woronov), & a cast that also includes Marjoe Gortner, Dyanne Thorne(of "Ilsa" fame), Ray Sharkey, & Terry Moore. The Bastard (1968)
The Incredible Hulk: Death in the Family (1977)
THE RETURN OF THE INCREDIBLE HULK 1977 MADE FOR TV MOVIE!!!
The Incredible Hulk was an American television series based on the Marvel comic book character of the same name. The pilot episodes were a pair of Made For TV Movies that aired on CBS in November 1977. This is the second Made For TV Movie leading up to the TV series.
The Tartars (1961)
Sometimes there are films that are so bad they are good, even great, see "Welcome to Woop Woop." (1998) "The Maze." (1953.) The Conqueror" (1956). "I Tarari" (1961) is in this vaulted class of movies. Staring the great Orson Wells and Victor Mature it just collapse under it's own sincerity, what a hoot!. The lines are stock and over blown. Don't bother with the plot what ever it is, just listen to the lines and watch the really bad acting, have a bottle of cheap red wine to get the full effect. I love this movie and give it a 10.
The Ice Pirates (1984)
A group of pirates led by captain Jason (well, he's not a mythological Jason?!) picks in the distant future the Universe in search of water for their civilization. Two of them were captured and brought into slavery space Princess who attracts both search for their father who disappeared at the very moment when he came into some dangerous secret.
However, this bonding experience "the pirate movie" with fantasy and simultaneously parodying both genres would be interesting, if the direction of Stuart Raffel didn't seem so "claustrophobic" (in the apt definition American critic Leonard Maltina), and he had a more subtle, not so vulgar sense of humor and knew how easy, it is natural to change the registers and the tone of the narrative, alternating between adventure and entertainment. And without all this turned out very strained, heavy and not funny. It's amazing how idiotic company "star pirates" got good actress Angelica Huston, which is excruciating along with other performers at least one audience laugh. But Mel Brooks after three years showed in a fantastic Comedy "Spaceballs" as I should be though rough, but very wittily parodied the movie series "Star wars."
